About the sound
Where the beach movie meets the creature feature
Monster Hodaddy serves up original surf rock, monster surf, hot-rod instrumentals, spooky beach ballads and creature-feature mayhem inspired by the sounds and atmosphere of the early 1960s.
The songs live in a sun-bleached world of boardwalk lights, roaring engines, spring reverb, midnight piers and monsters who would rather dance, race or surf than stay in the shadows.
